A tray with 2 compartments and different sets of tiles that slot into the compartments.
No need to have a tray for every letter or number (unless you want to!). Simply interchange the tiles as you need.
Learn numbers, for example, place number one tile on the left side and place the correct number of chickpeas on the right, or fill the right with sand and practise writing the number in the sand.
Then swap out the number tile for a letter tile and so on!
Even better, the tiles themselves have puzzle pieces that pull out so you can have the tile in the tray and the puzzle number piece out or in the right hand side! The options are endless!

Please note that for certain numbers and letters for example, '6' and 'a' the tile will have a backing board on it. All other tiles will not.
